appleJane Morrill-Winter joined the BES community as Assistant Principal in 2005.  Her experience includes more than twenty years as an educator in public schools and higher education.  Jane’s teaching career began in Caledonia, Mississippi followed by several years as a classroom and special education teacher in New Hampshire. For eight years, Jane was the Assistant Principal of the Henniker Community School and for five years, an Assistant Professor in the Education Department at New England College teaching courses in regular and special education and supervising pre-service teachers in area schools.  
Jane earned her B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University, M.Ed. from the University of New Hampshire and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Educational Leadership from Plymouth State University.  Her research interests include professional learning communities, leadership models, curriculum development, instructional design/strategies, and teacher effectiveness.
Jane is the mother of three sons and lives with her husband, Tim in Henniker.
