Invention Convention

posted Jan 13, 2016, 10:12 AM by Amy Forbes   [ updated Feb 19, 2016, 7:36 AM ]

Hello from the BES REACH program! We are excited to offer students the chance to create an invention and share it with us at the Invention Convention.
This is part of New Hampshire's Young Inventors Program. If you have a child who likes to solve problems he/she sees in the world, tinker and build with materials, and design new things, this is a great activity to encourage.  It's a mainly at-home process. Over the next few weeks, your child would think of, sketch, design, and build a unique invention.  We'll hold our school-wide Invention Convention on February 11th (snow date the 12th) to showcase the students' creativity.  Winners from each grade will be invited to attend the state-wide convention. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED FORMS FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
